Counselor’s Corner

Screen Shot 2016-03-15 at 3.47.08 PM   The older students continue to hone their Conflict Manager Skills as students practiced the four step process:

  1. Introductions/Permission (Conflict Managers must get permission first.)
  2. Explain the Fair Fighting Rules (Each person gets to tell their side of the story with no name calling, no interruptions or putdowns.
  3. Conflict Managers then ask reflective questions to that the disputants (kids arguing) come up with their own Win/Win Solution. (Solution that all parties accept.)
  4. Thank the disputants for coming up with a Win/Win Solution.Screen Shot 2016-03-17 at 9.18.08 AM
